This historic aircraft, with serial number 92449 and call sign FA, has a rich history dating back to its delivery to the United States Army Air Force on January 10, 1944. After its military service, this C-47 was transferred to French civil registry as F-BEFB before eventually being acquired by the French Air Force in May 1960. In 1982, it was noted at the Musee de l Air in Paris where aviation enthusiasts could admire its historical significance.
