Giant Machnow at Taylors Depository, Pimlico, London. Feodor Machnow, (Fyodor Makhnov) was born in 1878 at the village of Kostyuks in the Ukraine. Machnow eventually grew to a stature of 7ft 10" (2.39m) and a weight of 365 lbs. As can be seen in this picture, he wore a tall cossack fur hat and large fur boots, which added an extra foot to his already prodigious height
