Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This evocative photograph captures the scene at the Field Hospital in Lindi Theatre, East Africa during World War I in 1917. The image portrays the makeshift medical treatment center, where wounded soldiers from various allied forces received care in the harsh African terrain. The hospital was set up in a large open-air theatre, with tents and huts serving as temporary wards. Medical personnel, dressed in white uniforms and wearing protective masks, tend to the injured soldiers lying on cots, some with bandaged limbs and others with expressions of pain and exhaustion. The African porters, dressed in traditional clothing, are seen in the background, assisting with the daily operations of the hospital. The Lindi Theatre Field Hospital was one of several medical facilities established in East Africa during the war to care for the thousands of soldiers who were injured in the campaigns against the German colonial forces. The harsh conditions, including extreme heat and limited resources, made the work of the medical staff a challenging undertaking. This photograph provides a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by the medical personnel and soldiers during the First World War, as well as the resilience and resourcefulness of those who worked to provide care and support in the most difficult of circumstances.
