Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This striking print captures a mounted specimen of the Cordylobia anthropophaga, more commonly known as the tumbu fly or putzi fly. Found in East and Central Africa, this parasitic arthropod is infamous for laying its eggs on damp clothing which then hatch into larvae that burrow into human skin, causing painful sores. Photographed by Martin Hall in Marikari Pans, Botswana, this image showcases the intricate details of this fascinating insect. The tumbu fly belongs to the Diptera order and Calliphoridae family, making it a true fly with six legs. Despite its small size, the tumbu fly has a big impact on those unlucky enough to encounter it. Known by various names such as mango fly and skin maggot fly, this parasite can cause discomfort and health issues for its hosts. Martin Hall's detailed photograph allows viewers to appreciate the unique characteristics of this African insect up close. With its vibrant colors and distinctive features, the tumbu fly serves as a reminder of the diverse wildlife found in different regions of our planet.
