This evocative print captures the triumphant moment of Clive of India, Robert Clive, following his decisive victory at the Battle of Plassey on June 23, 1757. The battle, fought in present-day Bangladesh, marked a pivotal turning point in British colonial history, establishing the East India Company's dominance over Bengal and paving the way for the expansion of the British Empire in India.
