Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This enchanting photograph captures the tender moment between a mother Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) and her newborn calf, born on July 20th, 2010, at 15:30 in the Mediterraneo Marine Park in Malta. Weighing roughly 15 kg and measuring 1m in length at birth, the calf is a precious addition to the park's dolphin community. The mother, Onda, is a 14-year-old female from Cuba, who has been a resident of the park since 2003. Her companion, the calf's father, is Lucas, a 12-year-old male also from Cuba. The gestation period for Bottlenose Dolphins lasts approximately 12 months, and nursing can last up to two years. However, the calf begins to feed itself as early as 4 months old, initiating the weaning process. This heartwarming scene is part of a species propagation programme planned by Marineland Ltd, the company that manages the Mediterraneo Marine Park, to ensure the survival and growth of the Bottlenose Dolphin population in a monitored environment. Witnessing the bond between mother and calf, their playful interactions, and the love and affection they share is a reminder of the incredible connection between these magnificent marine mammals and humans.
