A2 (59.4 x 42cm) Poster Print

A2 Poster (59.4 x 42cm, 23.4" x 16.5" inches) printed on 170gsm Satin Poster Paper. Securely packaged, rolled and inserted into a strong mailing tube and shipped tracked. Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

Estimated Image Size (if not cropped) is 36.6cm x 59.4cm (14.4" x 23.4")

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print from the Liszt Collection transports us back to April 1730 in Oxford, where a frontispiece of humor and wit comes to life through an exquisite etching and engraving technique. Measuring at approximately 6 11/16 x 4 1/16 inches (17.1 x 10.3 cm), this print showcases the artistic genius of British painter William Hogarth, who was born in London in 1697 and passed away in 1764. The image itself remains a mystery, as we are left to wonder what humorous scene or character lies within its intricate details. Perhaps it depicts a satirical commentary on society or offers insight into the cultural nuances of that era. Whatever the subject may be, one thing is certain - Hogarth's talent shines through every stroke captured on this sheet. As we gaze upon this remarkable piece, we can't help but appreciate the craftsmanship involved in bringing such artistry to life. The precision with which each line has been etched onto paper is truly awe-inspiring. While commercial use is not mentioned for this particular print, it serves as a reminder of how art has the power to transcend time and evoke emotions across generations. It invites us to delve deeper into history and explore the world through different lenses. In acquiring this print from Liszt Collection, one gains not just an aesthetically pleasing piece but also a connection to an artist whose work continues to captivate audiences centuries later.
