Originally published in 1797, this timeless artwork captures the enchanting beauty of the Cole-Titmouse, now commonly known as the Coal Tit. Perched gracefully on a moss-covered branch, this small passerine bird belongs to the tit family Paridae and is a familiar sight throughout temperate to subtropical Eurasia and northern Africa.
