The oil on canvas masterpiece measures 87x64 cm and is currently housed in the prestigious Hamburger Kunsthalle in Hamburg, Germany. The painting depicts Adam and Eve, the first man and woman according to Christian tradition, standing side by side amidst a lush garden. They are portrayed completely nude, symbolizing their innocence before succumbing to temptation.
