In this photograph, Daniel Fox, a talented and determined footballer, is seen in action for Everton Reserves during their thrilling encounter against West Bromwich Albion at Haig Avenue in Southport. The date was August 17,2004, and Fox, wearing the number 4 jersey, is shown in mid-flight, leaping high to challenge for the ball with an opposing player. The intensity and focus in his eyes are evident, as he strives to secure possession for his team. Fox began his footballing journey at Everton's Academy and made his way through the ranks to become a regular in the Reserves team. His hard work and dedication paid off, as he was eventually promoted to the first team in 2006. Fox made his professional debut for Everton on November 5,2006, in a League Cup match against Rotherham United, and went on to make 12 appearances for the Toffees. Despite his brief tenure in the first team, Fox left a lasting impression on Everton fans with his tenacity, work ethic, and versatility. He could play both as a full-back and a central midfielder, making him a valuable asset to the squad. Fox's time at Everton came to an end in 2009 when he was transferred to West Bromwich Albion. This photograph serves as a reminder of Fox's promising start in his footballing career, as he represented Everton's future talent at Haig Avenue.
