Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

Nighttime Superheroes - Meet the Woolly Chafer Beetle!

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this extraordinary snapshot, we catch a glimpse of nature's very own nocturnal avenger - the ASW-4410, also known as the Woolly Chafer Beetle. With its furry exterior resembling a tiny superhero cape, this beetle is ready to take on any chilly night in style! Feeding exclusively on vegetation and buzzing around at dusk or under moonlit skies, these charismatic beetles are irresistibly drawn to lights like moths to a flame. But what sets them apart from their daytime counterparts? Their fur covering acts as an insulating shield against the cold, allowing them to remain active long after other insects have called it a night. But that's not all! The larvae of these remarkable creatures live underground in burrows within arid and semi-arid savannas and karoo regions. They have quite an unusual diet - munching away on dung pellets collected from Springbok droppings found scattered across the surface. Talk about recycling with style! Captured in Mountain Zebra National Park in South Africa's Eastern Cape, this single Woolly Chafer Beetle print by Alan Weaving showcases just how diverse and fascinating our planet's wildlife can be. So next time you're out exploring nature at night, keep your eyes peeled for these little superheroes soaring through the darkness!
