The Sex Pistols.
10th March 1977. London.
They are back again - the group you love to hate !
After their outrageous TV performance, and being " Fired" by EMI Records, the group are coming back with a new world wide recording deal with A&M Records.
Their first A&M single, " God Save The Queen" will be released at the end of this month. (Note: The company will not release an advance copy of the record, or the lyrics.)
Today, The Sex Pistols had a mod contract singing outside Buckingham Palace, and Press Conference later. The Press Conference was incredibly boring, only relieved by the group attempting to put a bottle of Scotch over hard-working photographers"

EDITORS COMMENTS
The Sex Pistols. 10th March 1977. London. They are back again - the group you love to hate! After their outrageous TV performance and being 'Fired' by EMI Records, the group is making a comeback with a new worldwide recording deal with A&M Records. Their first A&M single, 'God Save The Queen, ' will be released at the end of this month, creating quite a buzz among fans and critics alike. However, it seems that A&M Records is keeping everything under wraps as they refuse to release an advance copy of the record or even its lyrics. Today, The Sex Pistols made headlines once again as they had a mod contract signing outside Buckingham Palace followed by a Press Conference later in the day. Although the Press Conference was rather dull, it did have one exciting moment when members of the band attempted to put a bottle of Scotch over hard-working photographers. In this iconic photograph taken on 10th March 1977 by Bill Rowntree from Memory Lane Prints, we see Johnny Rotten (John Lydon), Sid Vicious, Steve Jones, and Paul Cook standing together left to right. This snapshot captures not only their rebellious spirit but also their undeniable influence on punk rock music during this pivotal era in history.
