Established as an old-fashioned boozer, the Hatchet derives its name from the Hatchet Trading Company, a fur trading business that once thrived in the vicinity. The image showcases the pub's left facade, with its rustic brick walls, ornate signage, and quaint windows that seem to invite passersby for a cozy pint. As of July 2018, the Hatchet pub, with its address at EC4V 2BA, underwent a name change and is now known as Three Cranes.
