EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases "L'Amour L'Espagnole" a stunning etching engraving created around 1780. The artwork, which is in its fourth state and expertly executed by Bocher, measures approximately 21 x 15 7/8 inches (533 x 404 cm) and belongs to the prints collection of Artokoloro. The piece was inspired by the French artist Jean Baptiste Le Prince's original work from Metz, dating back to the mid-18th century. Augustin de Saint Aubin, a renowned French artist from Paris who lived between 1736 and 1807, skillfully reproduced this enchanting scene. Intriguingly, this particular print has been mounted on a sturdy frame that enhances its visual impact. The delicate details and intricate lines beautifully capture the essence of love with an unmistakable Spanish flair. Notably, Noel Pruneau played a significant role in bringing this masterpiece to life as well. Born in 1751, he contributed his expertise to ensure every stroke accurately reflected Le Prince's vision. As you gaze at this remarkable print from Artokoloro's Liszt Collection, allow yourself to be transported back in time to an era filled with romance and cultural richness. Let your imagination wander through the streets of Spain as you admire the artistry that went into creating such a timeless piece.
