Meet the not-so-brilliant hunter who thought he could get away with illegally shooting a majestic Red-breasted Goose (Branta ruficollis) in the beautiful Bulgarian wetlands during February. With his chest puffed out like a peacock, our clueless protagonist strikes a pose while holding his ill-gotten trophy. Little did he know that this stunning bird is not only rare but also endangered, making it even more precious to conservationists worldwide. As the winter wind whips through the wetland backdrop, one can't help but wonder what goes on inside the mind of someone who willingly destroys such natural beauty. Perhaps they believe they're starring in their own twisted version of "The Great Hunt" unaware that their actions contribute to the destruction of European wildlife.
