The image showcases the spirited Barrow Team Group before their game against Southport at Haig Avenue on September 7th, 1954. The players stand tall and proud, exuding determination as they prepare for battle. In the back row, we see J. Keen, Derrick Renshaw, Bevis Wilson, J. Hindle, W. Buchanan, Thomas King, and D. Clements (Reserve), each wearing their iconic striped jerseys with pride. In the front row stands J. Gunning, A. McLaren, W. Gordon - all focused on victory - alongside team captain J.
