Wilhelm Fabry, German surgeon
Wilhelm Fabry (1560-1634), German surgeon. Born in Hilden in Germany, Fabry is sometimes referred to as Guilelmus Fabricius Hildanus, or Fabricius von Hilden. Fabry worked in Dusseldorf, Payerne and Bern. He wrote many medical books on surgery, with his major work describing surgical cases published after his death as Observationum et Curationum Chirurgicarum Centuriae (1641).
