Eight Venture Scouts and three leaders from the 13th Middlesbrough St Barnabas Group leave for Norfolk, where they plan a 100 mile cycle expedition. They will spend a week under canvas in a bid to gain the expedition award of the executive committee of the venture corps. It will also help them to complete The Queens Award and the Venture Awards Scheme. The Group, seen above giving one of their number, Nigel Harrison, a push, have hired bikes in advance from Norwich, from where they plan to pedal to Great Yarmouth, Cromer, Kings Lynn and back to Norwich. 13th August 1982
