Firefighters in action at the premises of Brunton & Co, lead manufacturers, in Miles Street, Vauxhall, SW8, on 6 March 1957. The first floor and roof were on fire when the first crews arrived. Baled cardboard cartons were stored on the first floor, which aided the fire. Date: 1957
