British politician and statesman Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965) and his wife Clementine (1880-1977) at the launch of HMS Iron Duke, a dreadnought battleship of the Royal Navy, at Portsmouth Dockyard. Iron Duke was named in honour of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington. Churchill was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945, and again from 1951 to 1955.
