The "Golden Arrow" holds a special place in the history of locomotives. This new and powerful steam engine, known as the New Golden Arrow Loco, revolutionized transportation during its time. One iconic moment featuring the Golden Arrow was when Henry Segrave took it to Daytona in 1929. The image of Segrave sitting proudly in the driver's seat of this magnificent machine became synonymous with speed and power.
