This print showcases "The Golden Bull of Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor" created in 1400. The artwork is made from vellum and gold and is attributed to the German School of the 14th century. Housed in the State Archives in Vienna, Austria, this particular piece is a copy of the original Golden Bull of 1356 that was specially made for Charles IV's son Wenceslas.
