In this image from the pre-season friendlies of the 2010-11 season, we find ourselves at the St James Park stadium in Exeter, where Bristol City's trialist Tom Williams is seen making a valiant attempt to score against their hosts, Exeter City. With the first team squad gearing up for the upcoming campaign, the trialists were given an opportunity to prove their worth, and Tom Williams seized the moment with both hands. The scene is set against the backdrop of a crisp autumn afternoon, with the sun casting long, golden shadows over the lush green pitch. The crowd, a vibrant mixture of supporters from both clubs, are on the edge of their seats, their eyes fixed on the action unfolding before them. Tom Williams, clad in the blue and white of Bristol City, stands poised on the edge of the penalty area, the ball at his feet.
