Whats this talk of meal restrictions. One of the items on Mr Attlees austerity
Whats this talk of meal restrictions.
One of the items on Mr Attlees austerity programme seems to have disturbed our Indian friend here, known as a Slender Loris, who puts his head out of his sleeping box at the Zoo to enquire Who is Mr Strachey?. Having left his native country behind, he thougt he would be able to forget about looking after that pencil like figure, but it appears that there just isn t any justice in the world. The Loris is one of a big collection whichhas arrived from India.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph captures a moment of curiosity and surprise. In the image, we see a Slender Loris, an adorable Indian creature, poking its head out of a sleeping box at the zoo. The Loris seems to be disturbed by something it has heard about Mr Attlee's austerity program. With wide eyes and an inquisitive expression, it appears to ask "Who is Mr Strachey?". The Slender Loris had left its native country behind, hoping for a fresh start without any worries about political figures or restrictions on meals. However, fate seemed to have other plans as news reached even this little creature's ears. It laments the lack of justice in the world as it contemplates why it can't escape from such concerns. This photograph transports us back to 8th August 1947 when this collection of exotic animals arrived from India. Its monochrome composition adds a touch of nostalgia and vintage charm to the image, making it all the more endearing. With its cute and funny demeanor frozen in time through stock photography archives like this one from TopFoto. co. uk (not affiliated with any company), this print serves as both a reminder of our shared history and an appreciation for the beauty found within nature's creations.
