The tree is beautifully illustrated in this botanical print, which is a reproduction of an original work by Edouard Maubert, created around 1864-1871. The engraving was executed by Oudet for the horticultural and forestry publication, "La Regne Vegetal: Planets Agricoles et Forestieres," published by L. Guerin in Paris.
