Worzel Gummidge, Billy Bunter and Madonna helped raise cash for the Examiner Bodyscanner
Worzel Gummidge, Billy Bunter and Madonna helped raise cash for the Examiner Bodyscanner Appeal. Class 3W of Honley Junior School paid for the privilege of going to school in fancy dress and three of the youngsters chose the famous " names" as their theme. The nine and 10-year-olds raised a super £ 18.04 for the bodyscanner appeal and here they are seen handing the cheque to All Yours page organiser Margaret Overend, who visited them at school to see the hard work they had put in to assembling the costumes. 3rd November 1987
