In this historic photograph, taken in Paris in 1939, the new Polish Cabinet gathers for the first time, determined to lead and direct Poland's efforts during the early stages of World War II. With their country already overrun by both German and Russian armies, the formation of this government in exile was a crucial step in ensuring the continuity of Polish leadership and resistance. From left to right, the members of the Cabinet include Colonel Adam Koc, Minister of Finance; M. Stanislaw Mikolajczyk, Vice President of the Council; M.
