At centre, one of a pair of pollen sacs is seen filled with pollen grains. The other pollen sac is at upper right. Intricate patterns are visible on the surface of some pollen grains. The wall of the anther is many cells thick, and at the time of dehiscence, the wall will split to expose the pollen. Magnification: x21 at 35mm size. Magnification: x80 at 4x5inch size
