Pavel Popovich (born 1930), Ukrainian cosmonaut onboard Vostok 4, August 12 1962. During his life, Popovich cumulatively spent over 19 days in space. Vostok 4 was his first flight. The mission was the first group spaceflight. Vostok 4 came within 8 kilometres of Vostok 3 during its orbit. Popovich later went on to command the 1974 Soyuz 14 flight
