Capturing the Industrial Revolution - The Magnificent Construction of St Pancras Station

EDITORS COMMENTS
. This print takes us back to the bustling construction site of St Pancras Station in London, circa 1867. A monumental feat of Victorian engineering, this station would become the prestigious London terminus for the Midland Railway upon its completion in 1868. Designed by the brilliant architect William Barlow, this image showcases a pivotal moment in history as we witness the installation of the travelling gantry and first girder.
