Claude Shepperson
Claude Allin Shepperson (1867-1921), artist and illustrator. Shepperson trained at Heatherleys and in Paris and was one of a number of illustrators who worked as a tutor at Percy Bradshaws Press Art School. Working in most media, Sheppersons pictures are a masterclass in elegance, grace and refinement, and scene of high society, often featuring the Shepperson Girl, were his speciality. He contributed regularly to TheTatler magazine, the ideal magazine to showcase his work. Date: 1918
