APACHES FAREWELL TO SCOTLAND. Three of the Armys new AH64D Apache Longbow helicopters depart from RAF Leuchars at the end of a major joint Army/RAF night flying exercise. Codenamed TLT/NITEX, the exercise involved 14 types of rotary and fixed wing aircraft which flew over the whole of Scotland and much of the north of England and ran from 18 February until 1 March
