When the 11.44am train left Liverpool Street Station today on board was a chef in full regalia accompanied by Santa Claus. The chef, Mr Pedro Carol, was carrying a turkey weighing 20lbs that ws garnished on a silver platter. To see the party off the Station Master wore his top hat. The destination of the party and the turkey was Turkey Street Station about 20 minutes ride from Liverpool Street Station. At Turkey Street a group of local children met the turkey and Father Christmas and the whole party marched through Turkey Street Village to a pub called The Turkey, where the birds were sliced up and erred to local people.
