Queen Elizabeth II Coronation 1953 Tiny two year old Ian Rosser of Shepherds Bush
Queen Elizabeth II Coronation 1953
Tiny two year old Ian Rosser of Shepherds Bush is one of those lucky very little fellows. He is small enough to get on the inside when everybody else is on the outside. As the Queen Mother and Princess Maragret arrived at Buckingham Palace for a Garden Party he was getting a good view from inside the railings. He could put his tiny head through the gaps.... Sometimes its lucky to be small.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print of the "Queen Elizabeth II Coronation 1953" we are transported back to a momentous day in history. Amidst the grandeur and excitement, our attention is drawn to a tiny two-year-old boy named Ian Rosser from Shepherds Bush. Despite his tender age, Ian finds himself in an enviable position - he is small enough to be on the inside while everyone else remains on the outside. As the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret make their way towards Buckingham Palace for a Garden Party, young Ian stands at the railings with sheer determination etched across his serious face. With his head carefully maneuvered through the gaps between each railing, he enjoys an unobstructed view of this majestic event. June 1953 marked a significant milestone for Britain's monarchy, but it also became a defining moment for little Ian Rosser. His diminutive stature granted him access to an exclusive vantage point that others could only dream of attaining. This heartwarming image reminds us that sometimes being small can bring unexpected advantages and opportunities in life. It serves as a testament to youthful innocence and curiosity during extraordinary times. Preserved by Mirrorpix under their Memory Lane Prints collection, this photograph captures not just historical significance but also celebrates childhood wonderment amidst grand occasions.
