Westminster Hospital was a hospital in London, England, founded in 1719. In 1834 a medical school attached to the hospital was formally founded. In 1939 a newly built hospital and medical school opened in Horseferry Road, Westminster. Date: April 1939

Bhupinder Singh, Maharajah of Patiala playing cricket

Maharajah Bhupinder Singh of Patiala (1891 - 1938) playing cricket. Perhaps best known for his extravagance, the Maharajah nevertheless worked for the betterment of social conditions within his kingdom. He was also a great patron of the sports and a first class cricketer. He captained the Indian cricket team who travelled to England in 1911 and played as a member of the Marylebone Cricket Club.
