Pupils at Binley Park Comprehensive school in Coventry are collecting newspapers to recycle and have already collected over a ton. The money they raise will be used by the Warwickshire branch of the Conservation Society to replace dying trees in the area. The collection was organised by art teacher Mrs. Dearne Jackson. She said she hoped a " paper day" would become an annnual event and that other shcools would follow their example. Some of the paper collectors from left are Vince Clark, Mark Dobie, Gwyn Davies, Ian Shepherd and Robert Grant.
