Frank William Brangwyn (1867-1956): A Visionary Artist and Designer of His Time This illustration showcases the renowned Welsh artist, printmaker, illustrator, and designer, Frank William Brangwyn, in his studio, circa 1915. Born on March 26, 1867, in Bruges, Belgium, Brangwyn's family moved to England when he was a young boy. He studied at the Royal Academy in London and later at the Royal College of Art.
