The present structure dates back to the 17th century but was preceded by an Elizabethan home with multiple gables. The image showcases the grandeur of Stoke Edith House's interior, specifically a drawing room adorned with exquisite furniture and intricate murals. It is evident that this room once served as a hub for social gatherings and elegant affairs. Despite being captured in monochrome, one can still imagine the vibrant colors that would have breathed life into these surroundings.
