In this photograph from the annals of Formula One racing history, we find ourselves transported back to the year 1980, where the world of motorsport was abuzz with excitement and anticipation. The image, captured by the renowned Motorsport Images photographer Phipps, features two distinguished figures of the sport: Jan Lammers of the Netherlands and Morris Nunn of Great Britain. Jan Lammers, with his intense gaze and focused expression, is seen on the left side of the photograph. Known for his exceptional driving skills and unwavering determination, Lammers made his Formula One debut in 1976 and went on to carve out an impressive career, earning a total of 11 podium finishes and 1 pole position throughout his tenure.
