During this historic naval battle, Queen Elizabeth I's formidable armada, consisting of over 130 ships, successfully defended England's shores against the invading Spanish fleet, led by the Duke of Medina Sidonia. The Santa Ana, one of the largest and most powerful Spanish galleons, was a significant target for the British forces.
