Born on February 11, 1796, in London, Overstone rose to prominence through his business acumen and political connections. The image, taken in 1883, reveals a man of considerable wealth and influence. Overstone's impeccably tailored attire, complete with a fashionable cap and mutton-chop sideburns, reflects the opulence and sophistication of the time.
