EDITORS COMMENTS
Great moment captured by Darren Walsh at the Cobham Training Ground on 31st August 2014, as Loic Remy put pen to paper on a five-year deal with Chelsea Football Club, marking his official arrival at Stamford Bridge. The French international striker, who joined from Queens Park Rangers, was welcomed into the Blues' squad for the 2014-2015 season with open arms by teammates and coaching staff. Remy's signing came as a boost for Chelsea fans, who were eager to see new additions to the squad following the departure of Samuel Eto'o. The 28-year-old forward had previously enjoyed success in the Premier League with QPR and Newcastle United, and was known for his clinical finishing and ability to read the game well. As Remy sat down to complete the paperwork, the atmosphere at the training ground was buzzing with excitement. The new signing was surrounded by Chelsea staff, including technical director Michael Emenalo and first-team coach Steve Holland, who guided him through the formalities of his transfer. With the ink still drying on his contract, Remy was already thinking about making an impact on the pitch. "I'm very happy to be here" he said. "I've always admired Chelsea from afar, and now I'm proud to be a part of this great team. I can't wait to get started and give everything I have to help the club succeed". As Remy left the signing table, he was greeted by a sea of cameras and microphones, but he remained focused on the task at hand. The Frenchman was determined to make the most of his opportunity and prove himself worthy of a place in the Chelsea squad. And with his natural talent and work ethic, there's no doubt that Loic Remy will be a valuable addition to the Blues.
