Nestled within the Fezzan region and surrounded by the majestic Tadrart Acacus mountain range, this area is often referred to as an open-air museum due to its rich collection of rock art. Dating back from 12000 B. C. to 150 A. D. , these petroglyphs, paintings, and carvings offer a glimpse into ancient civilizations.
