Pictured clutching her British passport is 19 year old Jamaican dressmaker Louise Robinson, in her best grey costume and pale blue hat, she has a last minute stroll on deck before going to the immigration authority at Plymouth. With her is confident Nathaniel Davis, 24, a welder of Portland, Jamaica, a friend she found on board. 8th September 1954
