The large enamel sign will go alongside other contemporary items in a street scene at Preston Park Museum, Stockton. It was handed over by Sergeant-Major Jack Flannigan, left, of the army careers office in Horden, where it had been kept for the last ten years, and restored by sign painter Ron Turner. 27th June 1989
