A man of many talents and accomplishments, Lubbock was not only an English banker but also an archaeologist, naturalist, and politician. His influential book "Prehistoric Times" published in 1865, revolutionized the field of archaeology by introducing the terms Palaeolithic and Neolithic for the first time.
