The Bristol Boxkite is an improved version of a Henry Farman biplane, built in 1910 by the British & Colonial Aeroplane Co. Ltd (later known as the Bristol Aeroplane Company). 78 were built at Filton prior to World War One and it became Bristols first successful aeroplane. This aircraft, number 17, was photograhed at Brooklands and published in Flight on 18th March 1911
