Giant Hogweed
Heracieum mantegazzianum
Hogweed is a phototoxic plant. Its clear watery sap sensitizes skin to ultraviolet radiation. This causes burns, resulting in blistering and painful dermatitis. When found in urban areas, can be thought of as a public health hazard.
Native to Central Asia, introduced into the UK and Europe. Can grow to 5-7 m (15-20 ft) tall.

Hailing from Europe and Asia, these audacious hogweeds have decided to crash the United Kingdom party with their exotic flair. But beware! Behind those enchanting petals lies a dangerous secret - they are toxic and poisonous. Imagine stumbling upon one of these mammoth beauties during your countryside stroll; you'd feel like Alice in Wonderland! It's no wonder they're often referred to as "wild flowers on steroids". Just remember not to get too close or attempt any magical potions – we wouldn't want anyone shrinking or growing uncontrollably! So next time you find yourself exploring nature's playground, keep an eye out for our cheeky friend ME-677 (Giant Hogweed).
