Waterbuck Glass Coaster Collection

Waterbuck are large antelopes native to Africa. They have a reddish-brown coat with white patches on the throat, belly and rump. The males are larger than the females and have horns that can reach up to 30 inches in length and can be found in open grasslands, savannas, floodplains and woodlands near sources of water such as rivers or lakes. They feed mainly on grasses but also eat leaves, fruits, shrubs and aquatic plants, and are social animals that live in herds of up to 20 individuals led by a dominant male. During the dry season they will move around more looking for food and water while during the wet season they tend to stay put in one area where there is plenty of food available, and are preyed upon by lions, leopards and hyenas but their main defense is their speed which allows them to outrun most predators.
