The common blue damselfly, Enallagma cyathigerum, is a stunning insect that can be found in various locations across the UK and Germany. In June, at Meeth Quarry nature reserve in Devon, a golden-rod crab spider was spotted resting on a rough hawkbit flower while in hunting pose. This captivating scene showcases the intricate balance of nature. Moving to Cornwall in May, another sighting of the common blue damselfly was captured as it peacefully rested on a leaf. The delicate beauty of this creature is highlighted against the lush green backdrop of England's countryside.
